Policies for BRVForge customers, subscriptions, data handling, and service usage.

OUR COMMITMENT TO CUSTOMERS
BRVForge is built for operational reliability, security, and long-term customer trust.
We do not believe in leaving customers without notice when a problem can be communicated in advance.
We aim to provide clear billing, secure automation, reasonable support, and fair handling of exceptional situations.
If an issue occurs, our priority is to help identify the cause, protect customer data, restore reliable operation where possible, and communicate clearly.
PRIVACY POLICY
1. Overview
BRVForge is a SaaS platform that automates workflows between Discord and ClickUp.
We process personal data in accordance with:
• Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP)
• General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), where applicable
2. Data Roles
• Customer = Data Controller
• BRVForge = Data Processor
Customers are responsible for all data processed through the platform.
BRVForge does not control or own user-generated content.
3. Data we collect
We collect only what is necessary to operate the service:
• Account email
• Account setup, authentication, and security data
• Billing data (processed via Stripe)
• Discord metadata, such as server IDs, channel IDs, user IDs, channel names, role references, and event references
• ClickUp workspace, list, task, comment, and status data required for automation
• Technical logs (security, debugging, reliability)
We do NOT intentionally collect:
• Private conversations beyond automation triggers
• Sensitive personal data, unless expressly agreed in writing
• Unrelated user content
Customers must not configure automations to send sensitive personal data through BRVForge unless they have a lawful basis and a separate written agreement with BRVForge where required.

Processing is based on:
• Contractual necessity
• Legitimate interest (security, abuse prevention)
• Legal obligations where applicable
5. Data Usage
We use data only to:
• Operate BRVForge
• Execute automations
• Process subscriptions
• Maintain system integrity
6. Third-Party Services
We rely on:
• Stripe
• Discord
• ClickUp
These providers process data according to their own terms and privacy practices.
BRVForge is not responsible for outages, API changes, or data loss caused by these platforms outside BRVForge’s reasonable control.
7. Data Storage & Security
We implement:
• Encrypted storage
• Access control
• Secure backend architecture
Sensitive tokens:
• Never exposed to frontend
• Stored server-side only
8. International Transfers
Data may be processed outside Switzerland/EU.
Appropriate safeguards are applied where required.
9. Data Retention
• Active paid accounts → data retained as needed to operate the service
• Expired or cancelled accounts → data retained temporarily for billing, security, legal, support, and recovery purposes
• Accounts scheduled for deletion → customer data deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, unless retention is required by law, security, dispute resolution, or legitimate business purposes

12. Data Processing
Where BRVForge processes personal data on behalf of a customer, BRVForge acts as a data processor and processes such data only to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service, and in accordance with the customer’s documented instructions, applicable law, and these terms.
BRVForge applies appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect customer data.
BRVForge may use trusted sub-processors such as Stripe, Discord, ClickUp, hosting, analytics, email delivery, and infrastructure providers where necessary to operate the service.
A Data Processing Agreement may be made available to business or enterprise customers upon request.
TERMS OF SERVICE
1. Acceptance
By using BRVForge, you agree to these terms.
2. Service
BRVForge provides automation between Discord and ClickUp.
The service may evolve over time as BRVForge improves, secures, and expands the platform.
3. Access Control
Access requires:
• Active paid subscription
• Valid billing status
Access may be restricted or revoked when the subscription is no longer active, subject to the billing, grace handling, and notice provisions described below.
4. Business Model
• Paid only
• No trials
• No free access
5. Billing
Payments processed via Stripe.
Subscriptions:
• Recurring
• Auto-renewed
6. Activation, Expiration and Grace Handling
Access to BRVForge requires an active paid subscription.
If a payment fails or a subscription expires, access may be restricted in accordance with the billing status received from Stripe.
Where reasonably possible, BRVForge will provide billing notices, recovery instructions, or a grace handling process before permanent account closure or data deletion.
BRVForge does not intentionally leave customers without notice when a billing or subscription issue can reasonably be communicated in advance.
7. Refunds
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, except where required by law.
However, BRVForge may review refund or account credit requests on a case-by-case basis, especially in cases involving duplicate payments, billing errors, prolonged service disruption, or situations where BRVForge determines that a fair resolution is appropriate.
Approved refunds or credits are granted at BRVForge’s discretion and do not create an automatic right to future refunds.
8. Cancellation
Customers may cancel their subscription at any time through the billing flow provided by BRVForge or Stripe.
Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not automatically refund past payments or unused time, unless required by law or approved by BRVForge on a case-by-case basis.
9. Automation Responsibility
Customers are responsible for how they configure their Discord servers, ClickUp workspaces, roles, permissions, and automation rules.
BRVForge is responsible for operating the platform according to its documented functionality, security model, and subscription scope.
If an automation issue occurs, BRVForge will make reasonable efforts to help diagnose the issue, identify whether it originates from BRVForge, Discord, ClickUp, Stripe, customer configuration, or third-party availability, and provide guidance where possible.
10. Acceptable Use
Users must not:
• Abuse, overload, disrupt, or interfere with the service
• Attempt unauthorized access to BRVForge, customer accounts, systems, APIs, or data
• Reverse engineer, copy, resell, or misuse the service
• Use BRVForge for illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes
• Configure automations to process prohibited or unlawfully obtained content
11. Suspension and Termination
We do not suspend or terminate customer access without reason.
Where possible, BRVForge will provide advance notice before suspending or terminating an account, especially in cases related to billing, configuration issues, policy violations, or service misuse.
Immediate suspension may only occur when reasonably necessary to protect the platform, other customers, security, legal compliance, payment integrity, or to prevent abuse.
When access is restricted, BRVForge will make reasonable efforts to inform the customer, explain the reason, and provide a path to resolution where appropriate.
12. Intellectual Property
BRVForge owns all software.
Users own their data.
13. Availability and Maintenance
BRVForge is designed to provide reliable automation infrastructure.
While we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, we use reasonable technical and operational measures to maintain service continuity, monitor system health, and resolve incidents promptly.
Planned maintenance, when necessary, will be communicated in advance where reasonably possible.
14. Disclaimer
BRVForge is intended to support operational workflows and business automation.
Customers should evaluate their own continuity, backup, and escalation requirements before relying on BRVForge for high-impact or regulated processes.
Unless a separate written enterprise agreement states otherwise, BRVForge does not replace the customer’s internal backup, compliance, incident response, or business continuity procedures.
15. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BRVForge is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or business interruption damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, loss of goodwill, or loss of opportunity.
BRVForge’s total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amount paid by the customer to BRVForge for the affected subscription period, unless a different limit is required by law or agreed in a separate written enterprise agreement.
Nothing in these terms limits liability where such limitation is not permitted by applicable law.
16. Third-Party Dependency
BRVForge integrates with Discord, ClickUp, Stripe, and other service providers required to operate the platform.
BRVForge is not responsible for outages, API changes, permission changes, account restrictions, or data issues caused by third-party platforms outside BRVForge’s control.
Where possible, BRVForge will provide reasonable guidance or remediation steps when third-party changes affect customer automations.
17. Changes
BRVForge may update these terms from time to time to reflect product, legal, security, or operational changes.
Where changes are material, BRVForge will make reasonable efforts to notify customers in advance or at the time the updated terms become effective.
Continued use of the service after the effective date of updated terms constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
18. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding conflict of law rules.
The competent courts of Switzerland shall have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection or data protection laws provide otherwise.

6. Control
Users can disable cookies via browser settings.
Where available, users can update their cookie preferences through the cookie banner or cookie settings link on the website.
